This Lord's Day 1-24-2010 We will be welcoming Pastor Jim Savastio From the Reformed Baptist Church of Louisville. This will be a very uplifting and welcoming time so please invite anyone that you feel is in need of a True Gospel message and even those that are already in the fold of the Lord Jesus Christ.
In Sunday morning Sabbath school we are studying the book of Thessalonians.
Please join us for the EVENING SERVICE, Sunday's at 6PM. There will be singing of Hymns and also a study of Hymns and Proverbs.
Please join us for PRAYER MEETING this THURSDAY at 7PM at the church. This is a wonderful, uplifting time to share our burdens and present our requests to God. It is amazing to hear how God answers the prayers of the brethren. Meeting with the Church family and praying as a group is something you don't want to miss.
In the Community
The Toledo International Hospitality Program
The purpose for this program is to cooperatively promote cross-cultural learning and friendship between the community and the University to provide international students at the University of Toledo a positive, culturally rich experience outside the classroom and to offer local citizens the opportunity and pleasure of making international friends.
Students are matched on the basis of common interests with a volunteer friendship partner for a period of one year. We recommend monthly visits or phone calls. Toledo residents meet monthly with their students, including them in activities they enjoy, such as sightseeing, sports events, shopping, coffee and conversation, birthdays, home-cooked meals, and holiday celebrations. Hosts don’t provide permanent housing or assume any financial responsibility for students.
Welcome to the Providence Reformed Baptist Church of Toledo,Oh Web site. We are an assembly of believers who gather all knowledge of the Lord and savior Jesus Christ from Scriptures Alone. We adhere to the London Baptist Confession of Faith, 1689.We are a member of the Reformed Baptist Fellowship.
Sin is the great block and bar to our happiness, the Procurer of all miseries to man, both here and hereafter. Take away sin, and nothing can hurt us; for death, temporal, spiritual, and eternal, is the wages of it.
- John Bunyan
